You think season 1 of B5 was good? Well let me tell you, you will LOVE seasons 3 through 5! After season 1 they made some changes because the show wasn`t doing too well, such as getting rid of that captain guy from season 1 and getting the new awesome guy that kicks major butt(sorry can`t remember their names). yes, the $3 bill has Clinton`s head on it. Several years ago this guy in front of me at Burger King showed me the $3 bill, and he presented it to the cashier to pay for some fries and a drink.. like $2.50 worth of food. She took the bill, looked at it and said "wow I have never seen this bill before, did it just come out?"
She was giving the man change when he finally busted out laughing and told her it was fake. I guess he didn`t want to go to jail for counterfeit even though the cashier was a dumb slut. Posted: March 9th, 2004 @ 5:50PM
modem init strings were the bane of my existence. I was in 6th grade trying to play war2 with a friend of mine and we had the hardest time trying to get my modem to work correctly. My first real online game was quake 2, and I used a dialup modem until about the time quake 3 came out. Posted: February 26th, 2004 @ 3:14PM
you are right TheDem, instead of Blaming Saddam we should stop Bush from gassing thousands of americans, or building mass grave sites for americans and then shooting people to fill the graves, and for gassing our neighbors canada... oh wait. Posted: January 29th, 2004 @ 3:21PM
stwest79, did you even read what Unknown and Azzkicker posted?
People who just think of the travel to mars as the ultimate goal are IDIOTS. Yes, going to mars is exciting, but it`s the technology that is developed that is the real tangible benefit.
I suggest you people all stop using cell phones, DVD`s, cordless tools...
Be sure to tell the cashier at Wal-Mart to type in the price of every item you buy instead of scanning the bar code as well.
The huge amounts of technology in our society that came from NASA is mind-boggling
Forty years ago, NASA engineers didn`t start one Monday morning by saying, "Gee, I think I`ll work on microchip technology that, 30 years downstream, will lead to digital cameras." But that`s what happened.
The next time you reach for your cell phone, thank NASA. If your doctor recommends an MRI, thank NASA. The space agency deserves another moment of gratitude when you pop in a DVD and settle back for a good movie, or when you reach for a composite golf club, hoping to out-drive your buddies. And think of NASA when a smoke detector blares to save your life.
Explain to me how a lotto ticket would jump out of a purse when the purse falls to the ground. It`s like a movie ticket. Wouldn`t something else have fallen out of the purse as well if this was the case and the dumb lady would have noticed? Posted: January 7th, 2004 @ 1:09PM
Ramabas, could you explain a little more about how the movie ending was different than the book? I never read the books(I got through the 1st one and half the second one.. I don`t like the writing style). What`s the Saruman thing with the shire? Posted: December 18th, 2003 @ 9:09PM
