Cox's service is pretty amazing here in Iowa. Still expensive as fuck though. $200/mo for phone, internet and digital cable. Posted: July 30th, 2012 @ 3:43PM
10 years of entertainment you`ve given me reading your site was well worth my time to vote for this. I don`t think you`ve ever really directly asked the lurking masses to do anything before (other than click the ads, of course!) Posted: November 3rd, 2011 @ 1:10PM
I`m not really for piracy these days now that I`m not a broke college kid, but the RIAA/MPAA act like such dickheads I cannot help but root against them. I always buy my music and movies from used shops or independent distributors when possible (not that there`s really much worth buying these days anyway). Posted: May 22nd, 2010 @ 7:16AM
Don`t worry, Obama will find something you like and tax it as well. After all we wouldn`t want to offend our dear leaders sensibilities! Posted: March 24th, 2010 @ 4:52PM
Well I disagree because all the Daily Show has is nonstop Bush jokes (still) and LOLSARAHPALIN shez dumb am I rite or what folks? It`s unwatchable.
It`s a shame really because as you mentioned, and as I attempted to say, the tone set in this interview is really another level. But again as I said, his show is for entertainment and that`s the level of discourse you have to bring the discussion down to. I don`t see how Stewart pandering to the left is different from Beck pandering to the right, other than it sounds like you`re more inclined to agree with Stewart`s point of view. If Stewart came across in his show the same way he does in this interview, I might watch it. As it stands though, he`s just a gigantic ideologue the same as Rush or Beck... although that approach seems to be working well for all 3 of those gentlemen. Posted: February 7th, 2010 @ 10:32AM
Just because you are ok with the amount of government control over your daily activities doesn`t mean it doesn`t exist, and also does not conclude that it is the best solution for the problems of mankind.
Fact: social program spending is slowly bankrupting the United States and the entire western world in general. All this stuff sure sounds like a good idea but who is going to pay for it? I`ll just take the liberal point of view and not care where the money comes from as long as I feel good about it. Posted: December 20th, 2009 @ 1:16PM
Thanks Obama, Terrorists get constitutional rights in New York City while Navy Seals get a court martial in a military tribunal. Just absolutely the biggest waste of air as a human being, let alone as the alleged commander in chief. Posted: November 25th, 2009 @ 11:43PM
No PC will ever be virus proof simply because a non-educated user will simply plow through any warnings so that can install "COOL Email SMILEYS!" or whatever. You could always pick up a `cheap` mac or install Linux if you only need the box for web surfing, email and the like. Posted: November 14th, 2009 @ 3:53PM
It`s only a matter of time before it`s made legal... I`ve known that for quite some time. I don`t think it`s any worse than drinking, although I`d hope they will keep the current anti-smoking craze going for it so I don`t have to get high every time I go to the bar from second-hand pot.
