I heard about the train thing on NPR this morning and they ended the segment with "He tested positive for marijuana," which is also mentioned in this article. I am SO tired of people making statements like this which only spread misinformation. Marijuana stays in your system for up to 30 days, so testing positive means NOTHING. Prohibitionists like the ONDCP love to cite statistics about car accidents with drivers testing positive for marijuana, but they don't mention that it has no bearing on whether or not they are high, or even smoked in the last two weeks. In no way does a blood or urine test for marijuana indicate that you are high, it just means you used it sometime in the last month or so.
Yeah I`m not 100% positive that jdLordHelmet is right but I`m inclined to believe it. To me the only reasonable way to find out if someone is `high` at the time would be to do a similar type of sobriety test to the one done on drunks to determine actual impairment.
I`d never seen or heard of any of those 5 famous WTF pictures. This adds to my disdain for ALL articles on digg with a number of any sort in the title.
