| I snagged Total War Shogun 2 for 7 bucks.
I could have gotten the complete pack with dlc and the expansion for 20. But I try not to do that stuff to save money. You can always get that stuff again when it goes on sale randomly or during the holiday sale. If you just buy a bunch of base games up and do not worry about dlc or expansions for cheap, you can get away with not spending lots of money. |

| My wallet celebrates the steam sales! 2.50 here and there is great! Plus all the money I save from NOT going anywhere but playing games is enormous. A single dine out at a nice place is like 3-5 steam games or more. |

| So far, I'm not terribly impressed with the sale prices. I have a lot of the games, but the ones I don't have.. I swear Amazon has had them for cheaper.
@Charkoth: If you like any of the other games in the series, you'll like Shogun 2. It shares their strengths and weaknesses. Personally, I think it's quite good, possible the best in the series. |

| Binding Isaac is a lot of fun. $1.25
It is a top down 2D game with random dungeon and loot generation (like the first Zelda game). I have 84 hours logged according to steam.
Also bought 4 copies of Terraria for $7.50 |

| So far I've picked up Max Payne 3 (I like the game so far) and Trine 2 (today on sale for $4). Trine 2 is a side-scrolling platform game that is amazingly fun to play in multiplayer with up to 2 other friends. Reminds me of playing Lost Vikings from back in the day.

I picked up Metro 2033 for $5. Never heard of it until now, but people on the Steam forums had good things to say about it. That gives me 3 single-player games to mix in among my BF3 playtime. JOY! |
