http://www.ouya.tv/ - Guys at work have received theirs for being early kickstarter purchasers. I'm trying to figure out why I'd need this thing. I already have a computer hooked up to my TV that can do most things. This is a better/easier package though. I was about to buy at $130 but learned I have to pay $150.
Realistically its an Android streamlined for TV usage focused on games.
It has 1,000 uses and realistically is probably more useful in most households then Xbox 360.
It would be nice if it came with a Bluetooth Keyboard / Scrollpad / Remote though, but at least those really readily available in today's Android World.
Realistically its an awesome and quick way to give any TV the capabilities of most computers quickly.

I grew up in San Diego. I loved it down there. Now I'm in Orange County and it's not as good at all but is sorta like San Diego.
What I really want is the Florida/Miami lifestyle. I want the water that's like the Caribbean instead of the crappy cold dirty west coast beach water. I went to Miami for two days in 2005 and loved it. I want to live there.
That's probably why I like GTA Vice City so much.

For the Afghanistan War, they found Bin Laden in Pakistan. We give 2 billion to Pakistan and they didn't help us with Bin Laden at all. The only way either one of those wars is justified is if it's kept the terrorists killing soldiers instead of coming to American to

We waste all these billions on stupid shit instead of improving our country. Why do all these other countries have awesome rail lines? Imagine getting on a high speed rail in America and saving the plane ride.

The Corporations are actually to blame. They bribe the politicians. The Politicans award all these contracts and get bribed to do so. NONE OF THESE PEOPLE have our best interest at heart. They're all a bunch of greedy fucks after money as they cheat on their wives.
None of these corporate aholes that have helped start all these financial issues have ever been punished. They continue on and are awarded bailouts etc.
But what can an American citizen do about it?

Ideally you can vote these people out but there's never any GOOD option to vote. It's just douches and turds. Either way you vote you're going to get someone who is dirty. I don't know what can fix it. There's no morals whatsoever in ANY of the candidates. Look at Arnold S. You vote him as the 3rd party candidate and he's all running a family on the side with his maid. hah.
It used to be, a person cheats on their wife, in political office, that's the end of their career. Now people go who cares, it's their personal business. But what most people don't seem to understand or care is, that if these politicans will fuck their wife or family over. Do you think they will care about unnammed masses they represent? No, they don't care about you. They just want money and power. There's no way they have some good moral code about citizens yet cheat on their wives. It just demonstrates what kind of slimy low life bastards these people really are. Examples: Newt G, John Edwards, Jessie Jackson, Bill Clinton. These people lie to their families, cheat on their marriages, take tax dollars then use them to pay for their mistresses. Then they ALL take bribes for their actions in office from voting a certain way to including bills that favor corporations. Even if you can't nail them on the bribes, they get things you can't really pin on them such as after they are done in office, they go get some cushy job at a corporation that pays them for all the work they did for them while they were in office.
Corpration A gets contracts or favorable laws or VOTES from the Politican A. Then after it's over, Politician A gets a job at Corporation A that they helped promote and advance. It's a big crock of shit. There was a list of all the former corporation people in positions in the government one time. It's just sick. I suppose that's just the capital system in practice but it's just completely immoral when you're f-ing all the people below you over.
Notice that Health Bill was filled full of bribes. The politicans vote for it without even reading it as long as whatever pet project or bribe is included. Then the bill is mostly not even about the original issue. It's full of offtopic bribes.
So what can we do? Nothing. I would say hide your money from the government because they misuse it but that doesn't even work out for Westley Snipes. And Jesus says in the bible render under Caesar what is Caesar (instead of cheating on taxes). You could maybe invest more in other countries but that doesn't help America Either.
You can't even say serve in the military because then you're just a lap dog of whatever lame political agenda the President has at the time. The only recent noble military actions (besides humanitarian) were:
WWII, Kuwait (although hey not really our problem), and the hunt for Al'Qada that directly attacked us.
But even if you serve nobly in the military (every family member of mine before me did) then you're still caught up in nonsense actions that we shouldn't be involved in (Vietnam, Iraq War, Kosovo, etc).
At least most people (online anyway) are starting to realize the bullshit of all of this. But there doesn't seem to be much we can do about it.
Yesterday we went to Westminster which for the first time in 20 years, now allows fireworks. So some family bought like $200 of Fireworks and set them off for 2 hours. All the way down the street famlies set up areas where they set off fireworks. There were 4 spots going down the street and the streets across in both ways you could see fireworks going. The only thing that pissed me off is cars kept speeding through the fireworks too fast or not turning their lights off as they waited or went by. Some people were smart and waited for the fireworks to finish before driving through. 80% of them were total tards though. M. Bacon enjoyed doing sparklers. One firework was $50 and went for quite a while. That's burning money they said. They wondered how much $$ everyone in the city spent blowing things up. We didn't buy any fireworks but maybe next year we'll buy some if we did it again.

Normally we go to the Irvine Police Firework show in the local High School. I get free tickets at work but now there's so many people they only gave a chance to win tickets. I entered but didn't win. I haven't won anything since 2006. When the company was smaller, you at least had a chance to win. Anyway, at the highschool, a fire broke out with the official Police Fireworks and they had to evacuate. We didn't go but one co-worker and a family friend went. So if we would have went there we would have been out like $100 and only see 5 mins of a firework show. That's just hilarious. the POLICE SHOW CAUGHT ON FIRE. What idiots. We went to another police event last month and it was fun and all but those guys NEVER direct traffic at their own events. The police just stand around and watch us all fight to escape their events. You think they would at least work at their own events. How lazy.
Remember back when we had the freedom to go the airport. Remember when we could talk about lifestyles and religions that were wrong without being labeled racist. Remember before the government was tracking our every purchase, internet activity, and watching us at every stop light camera.

I remember when the chairs and school desks were one size fits all, and if they didn't fit your size, it was because you were too fat and needed to lose weight - not because you were discriminated against.
I remember when if you failed, it was because you weren't good enough - not because the world wasn't good enough for you and your neck tattoo, earlobe plugs and 9th grade education.
It's amazing how much the world can change in 20 years.
I remember playing on a playground with nothing but grass or cement underneath, tall slides, all metal merry-go-rounds and we were allowed to play dodgeball at recess.
I remember getting calls from the emergency room telling us that grandpa had a heart attack instead of just saying `hey your grandpa is in the emergency room, but we can`t tell you why`.
I remember kids getting spanked in public, and not having the police involved.
I remember when it was ok to play with toy guns, and run around the school making guns with your hands like James Bond.
Tornadoes scare the hell out of me. I would not want to live in tornado alley, although I know the chances are still slim to be one of the unlucky victims. I wonder what the actual odds are compared to say, an airplane crash or getting hit by lightning.

I was invited to a bar the other night to go watch a band and every person in the bar that wore glasses had those thick black rims. I was the only one not wearing them in the whole bar.
