Yesterday they were carting away some of his stuff. Heart wrenching. We found out he was some master accountant that traveled the world. Probably had tons of money hidden away. Sad you only learn people after you die.

My neighbor died of Cancer. I had just talked to him 2-3 weeks ago. He was in the hospital for a while but then came home and we thought he was getting better. He was kinda a hermit but stopped to talk to everyone. He liked to listen to music, ride his bike, swim, read. It's sad to think we'll never see him again. I don't know how old he was but I assume 70-80+. He was known all in the neighborhood. He seems to possibily be Australian. He was the nicest guy on the block. Of course the other guy who scares little kids and reports everyone for everything lives while this nice guy dies. That's Satan for you.

CNN is reporting a crazy story involving: a carjacking, a police chase, automatic weapons, grenades, explosions and The FBI. Apparently one of the two suspects was arrested, but the other one is still at-large. Scary stuff.

I hate to see stories like this, where the rich and privileged are allowed to live these deranged lives that just screw everything and everyone around them over. It's like their wealth enables them to be a sociopath/psychopath.

The guy will eventually get caught, and since he's from the US [not sure if he's still considered a citizen] he will use that to his advantage. After he moved to Belize to avoid the tax sanction on his cash-out of the company he founded.
