I find Tattoos and most piercings to be very distasteful. Tattoos (especially on women) are like taking a work of art and pouring motor oil all over it. It doesn't matter what it is, it just looks tacky and cannot compare to the unblemished flesh that used to be beneath it. There are a few piercings (beyond the ears) that can look passable but those are few and far between.
If need be there are so many types of wild clothing that people can wear to distinguish themselves without stabbing their skin with needles. But then I'm sure tattoo people look at plain flesh and think of it as wasted canvas. *Shrug*. Posted: April 9th, 2013 @ 5:16PM
I'm fortunate to have an immune system of steel. It's been probably 20 years since I've had anything more serious than a common cold. And I'm always surrounded by sick people. Posted: January 23rd, 2013 @ 8:15PM
I also stick with 8-9 mph over and never have any problems. I've even had cops right behind me without incident. If traffic is light and I know the area well I may pick it up to 15-20 over. Posted: November 27th, 2012 @ 5:25PM
I don't use Facebook and have no desire to use it but people around me are constantly going on about it. "You don't know what you're missing". "I saw on Facebook so and so did such and such". "Blah blah Facebook blah blah". Who needs a Facebook account when people won't shut up about what is posted on there. Posted: November 8th, 2012 @ 4:20PM
I can't believe even here in California they found nearly 5 million people stupid enough to vote yes on "temporary" (no such thing) higher taxes to "help schools" (which it won't). Why can't we have a system where if someone wants their money flushed down the toilet then go right ahead but leave everyone else alone? Posted: November 7th, 2012 @ 9:12AM
Religious debates never have any winners, only losers. And since I like losing...
Science has come a long way to giving us Humans a pretty good understanding of the universe. There are no miracles or magical events that science either can't explain or offer a better theory for (as opposed to just "God did it").
On the flip side, it is very hard to think that existence just magically appeared. What created the universe? The Big Bang? What created the Big Bang? (insert response). What caused that to occur? You could go on indefinitely with this line of questioning and I really don't think it's possible for science to truly go back through this loop and find an actual beginning ("THIS is the reason for existence").
When we die I figure there is a small chance we will find out the truth of things. Unfortunately if it turns out to be supernatural, you're too dead to tell everyone else about it. Posted: October 30th, 2012 @ 5:47PM
I like cats. They just kind of go do their own thing without (usually) requiring the level of attention dogs demand. Posted: April 26th, 2012 @ 12:33AM
I can't watch the History channel anymore. There's nothing historical on it. Just like MTV has no music. It's just reality shows or modern junk. Where are the good ol' days where you could turn on the History Channel and nine times out of ten you'll find a program about Nazis being blown to bits? Posted: April 19th, 2012 @ 9:41PM
