Memento(2000)
It's about
a guy who has no short term memory so he's trying to solve a mystery
while at the same time trying to keep track of everything starting with
a blank state over and over. It's a little like watching Ground Hog day
playing backwards. It's really an original movie unlike that other crap out
there. It's staring one of the main cop guys from LA Confedential (the
cop with glasses, goodie 2 shoes). The Dyke Nurse that used to be
on ER is in it to which kinda spoiled it a little. Her teeth need
some work.
The Hunt for Red October(1990)
Staring: Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin
A big old movie about a Russian Sub and Americans who are
after it. Based on a Tom Clancy novel. Some people really really
like this movie, it was pretty cool but I can go without it
for 10 years a time :)

American Beauty(2000)
Staring: Kevin Spacey, Mena Suvari (also in American Pie)
This movie is just amazing. It reminds me of Falling Down, where the average guy is
sick of everyone's crap and isn't going to take it anymore. This movie sort of
blows your mind. I can reall identify with the Real Estate part because
my mom was a Real Estate Agent. It sucks trying to sell a POS house and
make people at the open house think it's ok.

Election(1999)
Staring: Matthew Broderick, Reese Witherspoon
This is just a great movie. There are a lot of funny scenes, and most of all
it's an original movie with a story. You have no idea where it's going and it takes
you for a ride.

Good Will Hunting
The movie, what can I say. Go out and see it. I really had no idea what the movie was about.
I thought it was going to be some lame ass Piano type movie, but it was pretty bad ass.
Plenty of cussing, even a great fight. This movie was one that kept you thinking, not a
movie where you sat there watching not normal bs. I look back and it and I wonder
what movie was better? I mean I'm dying to say Starship troopers but quality wise, this was
better. It's kinda funny that Gotcha! won't see it just cuz he hates Robin Williams.
The numbers don't lie. It made a ton of money, and that's cuz it rocks.
Kiss the Girls
Great drama about a dude trying to solve some kidnappings. Morgan
Freeman, and the chick in there was pretty hot, Ashley Judd. There
wasn't any really disgusting scenes in there either like most
of the similar movies.
A Time to Kill(1996)
Somehow I missed this movie. I heard it was good but I guess somehow I passed
it up. What a mistake that was. Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock,
Samuel L Jackson, Kevin Spacy, Charles Dutton, Donald and Kiefer Sutherland.
Ashley Judd was looking pretty hot too. The story is set in the South.
2 rednecks attack and rape a black girl 10 years old and Samuel
kills them. Then most of the movie is about the court case. (Hey
previews gave that away too!) It's a pretty great movie. The KKK starts
getting involved then there is a big street brawl where the head
KKK guy gets set on fire. Pretty bad ass. I was laughing there. It's
a very powerful movie, especially the end.
Taxi Driver(1976)
This is the movie by Martin Scorsese, starring Robert De Niro, Cybill Shepherd
(back when she was hot), and Jodie Foster (as a little girl). While I didn't
overly like this movie, I thought it was ok. The ending was kinda wacky tho.

Wall Street(1987)
Charlie Sheen, Martin Sheen, and Michael Douglas. It's the story about
getting rich on wallstreet. I really liked the movie.
Boiler Room(2000)
A remake of Wall Street, this movie really teaches you that people are stupid. It's
a great thriller.
Mississippi Masala
Denzil Washington. This maybe another chick movie but I liked it. It's
the story of a mixed relationship between a black guy and an indian(not american)
and how they were willing to do all to overcome the odds and what people
thought of them.
Outbreak
This was one of the scariest movies I ever watched haha. This movie is definetly
worth the rent, or purchase.
The Shawshank Redemption(1994)
Starring: Morgan Freeman, Tim Robbins
A story of jail dudes. This is an incredible movie.
Shawshank received nominations for best actor, best picture, cinematography,
film editing, music (originial score), sound, and writing, but came up
empty on all counts. A great tale of life and corruption inside prision with
a happy ending.
Goodfellas(1990)
Starring: Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci
I think everyone liked goodfellas. It was a gangster/mob type movie, about
2 1/2 hours. It was near epics status. Defenitely worth the watch.
Casino(1995)
Starring: Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, Joe Pesci, Don Rickles and more..
If you liked goodfellas, this is another like it. I really enjoyed it too.
Leaving Las Vegas(1995)
Starring: Elizabeth Shue, Nick Cage
Not the best message, but hey it had Eliz Shue, any movie with her
rocks. It won some awards too if you care about that :)
