Old Rabbits
For about 15 years I have owned rabbits. Here are some of my rabbits from
1980s-1990s.
Did you know rabbits love bannanas? It's their favorite thing to eat over even
vegatables of any kind. They also really love bread.
Rabbits are made to be free. We have always kept our rabbits in the
back yard, making sure they can't dig out. Jerks keep rabbits in cages. I've
seen people keep them indoors like cats, and if they do, rabbits become
great friendly pets. As long as you litter train them. But I think rabbits
are best, when you got one of each sex, (fixed of course) and you allow
them to be free and be themselves. One thing to watch out for is
that they are not too hot. You should bring them inside or make them
some cool place to be in areas of extreme heat. I saw one person
build an area with water running over it to cool the area. Looked pretty
cool.
No these Rabbits are not dead.
During the Summers in Hemet, it gets as hot as 120 degrees. Such
heat will for sure kill rabbits. We used to bring them in, into
the air conditioning. As you can see here, the Rabbits are sleeping.
Rabbits, (I feel when they are feeling really safe) sleep like this.
The Air Conditioning probably is great for helping them sleep.

Here is Chunk, the Brown Rabbit chilling. Above him is a wet towel
wrapped around some ice coolers to keep the guy cool.

Rabbits are much like people. They like to find a mate to hang out
with. (They were fixed, to prevent that things rabbits do)

Don't they look cute.
