06/05/04 - I went to San Onofre State Beach. I've never been there before. I guess it's all about Surfers. I don't Surf. I use a body board. I want to be different! There was tons and tons and tons of surfers. That's the most surfers I've ever seen in my life. All the way up and down the coast. It was a great beach. You can camp there too. One major problem with it was that there are giant rocks all along the beach and in the water so it sucked going in/out. Because of that I'll likely not go again to that one. But everyone else didn't seem to mind.

It's a great beach for BBQs. It smelled so good I had to go to IN & Out afterwards. You had to wait in line to get into the parking area. I waited about 10-15 minutes. They would let one car in for every car that left. It was also $5 to park which is because of Arnold S's raise but I don't care. That seems reasonable.

Some guy was fishing along the beach. An asian dude (not that it matters). I've never seen anyone fishing along the beach. I was planning on coming back and going man what an idiot but he actually caught 2 fish. He caught a little one and then a giant catfish? He let them both go. I don't see the point if he wasn't keeping them. Perhaps it wasn't what he was looking for.

There was some serious beach hippys there. I could tell that besides surfing, they were brain dead.

It's the boob nuke plant. They had a giant truck blocking the entrance so someone can't ram the gate with a truck. Nice security.
