I hate it when Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on June 19th, 2012 @ 6:02PM I generally hate most questions. For some reason questions annoy the hell out of me. Especially if they are stupid questions or you know the person already knows the answer. My dad is a teacher and that's why I could never be a teacher. I think I'm good with my OWN kids but not other people's kids who I generally don't care about because they are not mine. There are some exceptions, if the kid is cool or nice. RE Questions: If I like what they are asking, I have no problem answering them. If I like the topic or I care about what is being discussed. I guess I just don't like the time it wastes me answering questions. I don't like wasting the energy to answer something that I don't consider worth my time. I also don't like answering something if you know the answer is just going to set someone off more. I feel that not answering the question is better than answering it and getting more shit from them. I suppose that's why I hate it when people call me at work or call me with questions. I really don't like phone calls. I'd love to just do away with my phone so people couldn't bug me. I especially hate the same question asked again and again. This makes kids especially annoying sometimes. I just try to be nice and tell them I already answered and the answer isn't changing. I hate it when I answer a question, then the person asks you the same question because they don't like the answer and somehow are expecting you to answer it a different way the second time. I say the answer hasn't changed, or ignore their 2nd time answering, or make a joke about people who repeat, or say "asked and answered" or the many other things I come up with. TOMMY TWO TIMES TWO TIMES. Saturday I was at police movie event. These idiots were going around trying to get signatures on some school thing to get it on the ballot. The guy asked me and I said no thanks. Then a short while later, a second younger guy comes walking around and asks me a SECOND time. I said "I've already been hit up." He goes "did you sign?" It's none of his fucking business whether I signed or not. He just wants a YES. If I said no, he would go into some bullshit. Now I suppose I could answer his question or go into a spiel about how what I think he's doing is stupid and fuck him. I could say, I don't sign political things just because some jackass is going around collecting signatures. I can't assume cuz you go into some bullshit about how you want something that what you're saying is even correct. I'm not going to put my name on your stupid shit just because you go around bugging people. SO instead I just ignored him. I try to avoid conflict when possible. But I refuse to let people MAKE me talk about shit that I already answered or something I just don't want to go into a discussion with. Fuck off. Guess what. I went to the store and another jackass for the same petition was camping in front of the grocery store begging for signatures. At this point, I felt they've been so pushy and asshole about it that I'd fight the opposite side against them no matter if they were right about what they were doing or not. I take that approach on a lot of things. I'll do something for you if you're nice about it, but if you're a dick about it, I'll fight the opposite direction just because you're an asshole. I suppose the underlining issues are impatience and unwillingness to let other people "waste" my time.
