[Link] - 'Heroes' Creator Apologizes to Fans. He didn't say sorry for everything such as his horrible ending last season an that he's just rehashing all the same crap (New York/future in danger), Cheerleader is the key, Cheesy Claire/Kid in school thing, PAINTINGS AGAIN, etc. It's sad.
Suckfest #3. I'm so close to quitting.
Yet again another POS. It's got nice scenery and ok acting. The overall story is horrible. Last season it's finding and gathering them together for a final WORST SEASON ENDING EVER. The battle was so bad. A standard Chuck Norris movie has better action. This season, OMG there are OLDER super heroes...and...someone is killing them off. Horrible. This show is now the type of show you leave going while you play games on your computer. I really want to quit it.
Least they had no mexican family in the show this time. They're horrible characters.
===
I have 0 desire to watch it. It's the same as last season only worse. The mexican family is dumb. The villian shoulda stayed dead.
I hate the fucking POS show. After the first season finale, nothing can possibly save it.

| Yeah, I don`t get how Syler keeps staying alive. I don`t recall him getting any healing abilities.
That minor gripe aside, I got sucked into watching Heroes about 2 weeks ago. Watched the entire first season in two days. I don`t know what it is about the show but I love it.
2nd season has started off slow but it has some promising story arcs. |

| This season has sucked so far. There's too much cheese this season, especially the scenes with the flying kid. A lot of the show so far is the same kind of rehashed story from the first season. 'The Corporation' guy, the cheerleader not trusting her father thing, the cheerleader at school afraid of fitting in. Syler doing his same deal again. I can't stand the new mexican couple, its just filler material. I never cared for Nikki's character. There seems to be less of her so far but they didn't make that up since we have new lame people. The only interesting part to me is finding out how the whole thing started, but the episodes barely progress that main storyline, and just drag you along. |

| Season 1 was good but I didn't have much desire to start watching Season 2 so I haven't, and probably won't start now. And yes, Sylar sucks and should have not returned. |

| You hate Heroes but likes Naruto...? At the very least hate Naruto too. =P
I`ll admit the fight scenes in season 1 where pretty low-budget. |

| I trust Heroes to kick it up a notch soon enough, but I agree this season has been dragging its feet.
The first season`s overall story was intriguing. The nuclear threat, the heroes discovering and coming to terms with their powers, meeting others and learning to work together. There was direction, every episode built on the previous, and everything was heading towards a climactic finale. While the finale was a bit of a let down, the season was some of the best TV I`d seen in a long time.
Season 2 looks like it`s still trying to find its footing. Other than the older generation getting systematically killed off, nothing is happening. They split up all the heroes again and seem to be having trouble keeping the stories connected. Some of them even feel like they`re holding the show back. Hiro`s adventures in feudal Japan, for example. I wouldn`t be surprised if they end up having no impact on the overall story at all.
They just need to bridge all the differing storylines and give us an overall theme that affects all the heroes. Only then will the show be good again. |

| I thought this was the best show on TV until the let down that was the last 3 eps of season 1. I`ve been watching season 2 and it`s had its moments, but I`m not expecting anything great to come out of it. |

| (Minor spoilers...)
Episode 7 was fantastic! They`ve bridged all the story lines and far surpassed my expectations. They just need to pull through on the season finale and any other fights that might come along the way. I`m sure they`ve got the budget to do it the right way this time.
The only loose thread is the Mexican heroes and Sylar, I wonder how that`ll come into play. |

| I`ve seen lots of pics of the cheerleader on the superficial. When you take away the airbrushing and hollywood magic, you see that she has a lot of imperfections in her skin. She`s short and her skin looks kinda messed up (kinda like wrinkles). Basically, she`s not really that hot in real life. |

| Validus: I whole-heartedly agree. Ep 7 is very reminiscent of the story-telling/flow from Season 1. The ending with the appearance of Alex completely through me for a loop. I can`t believe I didn`t see it coming!
I think there`s still hope for the show, especially since the creator has acknowledged the mistakes and seems keen on fixing the shows presentation. |

| The last episode was better at least in that they finally started moving the story forward. The whole 'preventing the future' thing made me cringe though. Not again! |

| Eh, they apologized for the lacklustre finale shorty after it aired. At least we`re getting some honest feedback from the show`s creator.
They do seem to be using the same formula, but they are suppose to wrap up this volume before the mid-season break. At least we`re not waiting until May/June to see how the story ends, which is a big plus in my opinion. |

| Am I the only one that still really likes this show? Hiro in Japan is awesome, though the new heroes are a bit "meh". The new boyfriend for Claire is awkward and he annoys me a little, but I still like the show. The way they got back at that cheerleader was pretty amusing. |

| I still love the show, it`s just that the new characters are all teenagers with little depth and weak super powers. And all the love arcs are tedious to watch.
We`re almost 1/2 way through the season, and we still don`t know how the Mexican duo fit into all of this.
They need more adults on the show with adult-oriented stories. And bring back the action-paced scripts with cliff-hanger endings for every episode. That will bring the show back. |
