The 3rd, best Expectnothing Photo ever. This time it wasn't taken by me. It was taken by SP. Here's the description:
"A woman where I work hit a deer and did not realize that she drove the rest of the way to work like this." - SP

She had a really huge truck that swallowed the deer`s ass on the lowest portion of the front and dragged it. Actually, that`s a good way to go hunting deer. Instead of bothering with guns that`ll damage your hearing, just use a huge truck. Dude, you should get a photo of what she looks like.

Some people keep driving at the same speed regardless if the deer is there crossing to avoid having it bounce up to the windshield. In fact, if a person slows down, it raises that chance of the undesirable effect to occur.

The reason is that, almost always, there`s more deer waiting to cross the road. If you miss that one, the next one that runs out could very will get hit. It is much better to avoid the accident than not, agreed?
Kali Compton Girl December 16th, 2007 @ 5:22AM Registered: 2003-06-14 Location: MN Posts: 1798 | They don't recommend slowing down at all up here in MN. You keep the same pace if you are too close to the deer that is crossing. True, they are usually in pairs, however if the one that is crossing you are too close to you, the second one doesn't matter becuase you just killed her buddy. Sorry for not clarifying this. I would agree you should slow down if you see it coming across in time enough for you to safely slow down and possibly stop. Otherwise, too close, forget it. |
