| So good. So very good. I was blown away in the first 15 minutes. It's GTA4 in the wild west, but it feels way more immersive and atmospheric.
Alan Wake also came out today, and I highly recommend you at least rent it. Really good game, but may not have enough replay value to warrant a purchase. |

Loving it.
It has none of the stupidities that GTA4 had (e.g. stupid autoaim, washed-out appearance, clumsy gunplay, retarded tutorials) and a lot of good qualities.
Definitely worth it. |

| The bouncing buggy glitch is common and highly annoying. I had to restart the game to fix it as it was causing me to be completely stuck on a mission. |

| I killed a guy with a bullet to the leg once or maybe I placed too many shots on his horse either way disarming/taking bounties alive is challenging imo. |

| I am really liking the game too, though I also wish there was a pc version. I am a sucky shot with a PS3 controller, I need me a mouse/keyboard combo to have any shooter skill.

| The only way to stop bad guys without killing them is to catch them with your lasso, then walk up to them and hit Y to hogtie them.
Tapar, you really need to exploit the aim assist. Hit the zoom button then quickly hit the fire button right after, and chances are you will nail whatever auto-aim hooked onto. Very late in the game, some quests are nearly impossible to complete without doing this. |

| I recently beat this after doing every sidequest and achievement.
It was a pretty good game, the story was pretty good but there were some parts that were VERY drawn out and boring (like the very end) after the first "climax".
I wish they made more "random world encounters", the same ones get boring after the 4th or 5th time doing them. The endlessl spawning grizzly and wolf bugs were annoying too when you'd try to skin a pack of wolves. They need a speed skin option where it just skips the cutscene for skinning.
Story, script and the acting on the part of the main character were top notch. Definately a game I'd buy a sequel too. |
