Seeing this kind of opulence where people treat their pets better than how some PEOPLE live in some parts of the world makes me extremely sad. It just feels so wrong and unfair.
I came from a 3rd world country where some people consider dogs as a food source (not that I condone the practice). The poverty level is so bad that entire families live in cardboard boxes in landfills and when flooding occurs people just get washed away in their sleep along with the refuse.

Problem is that there are plenty of Americans that believe they can live independent of goods from outside their town/state/country (which is absolutely retarded).
People are waaay too disconnected from the processes the goods they purchase are created through.
Too many people have also blinded themselves by outright insisting that this type of poverty is impossible in the United States, or that it can be fixed by just 'going out and getting a job.'

Very sad indeed. But this is what happens when people live in extravagance and a wealthy life they get too haughty and puffed up not knowing better. But that 3rd world cesspit you come from will happen here it just takes a long time to knock a country down from such a high pedestal. I was watching Red Eye last night and the host made a similar statement about morons in reference to this article: http://feministing.com/2011/04/11/why-i-wont-be-talking-about-abortion-as-a-womens-issue-anymore/
He basically said that our society is incredible in that we allow morons to say whatever they want, and that you don't even have to work or be productive to survive (case in point: this Lori maniac).
All this "gay rights" shit and allowing people to CHOOSE their gender (which should be a biological determination, not a "feeling") wouldn't even be on the table if we all had to work for a living. Technology and our world domination have paved the way for idiots to survive and in fact flourish.
Of course, once we become too top-heavy with idiots, it's all going to come crashing down and we'll have to rebuild another great society. But who knows when that will be?
P.S. I decided to actually look up what a Two-Spirit person is. I am absolutely flabbergasted. Wiki that shit - how many Two-Spirit people are there in the WORLD, like 11? Why is it even worth mentioning? Unbelievable.
