What Theme Park to Ruin Next? Answer Legoland
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on June 27th, 2011 @ 11:02AM

Legoland had this awesome 3D Lego movie with action scenes and whole lego cities in 3D. It was so amazing. They could really turn it into a TV show or movie.

Second visit in a week. We went to Legoland Water Park. You can watch the video here. The Park was great for 3-9 year olds. But other than that it's really dumbed down for little kids vs. Wild Rivers and Raging Waters.

Lego Water Park has this lazy river where you can build on your raft with floating bricks. That was kinda fun but their rules are you cannot have your feet on the ground or be out of your raft. So the whole time they're nagging everyone to get up in their raft with their feet up. It's such bs. I'm not sure why they even do that. The other lazy river at Wild Rivers you can do whatever you want.

There's NOWHERE to get in a pool. The only water is 2 feet deep so you see a ton of adults trying to dunk down in the shallow water because otherwise you're super cold. Imagine going to a pool then being stuck wet out of the pool. It's not very fun. We think it's a safety issue or something where they don't want anyone to drown. Who wants to be wet all the time near the beach with no pool to go in. There's no Jazcuzzi either like Wild Rivers has.

The family slide was kinda fun. I went down it 3 times. Up to 4 people fit on this raft with a mellow water side. The other slide I went on was so horizontal you don't get any speed going down it. I had to push with my arms to get to the bottom, haha.

So it was $28 for us to get in on top of our annual passes. It's was great for M. Bacon. She had fun for 3 hours. The 9 year old had fun too. But it sucks for adults!

I don't really want to go back again for $20.

I've had 3 years of Annual Passes to Disneyland over 5 years. I'm really sick of that place. The only enjoyment I ever get is out of my daughter's excitement.

We got Sea World for a year. That was ok but now I'm nearly sick of that place too. I'd go maybe 1-2 more times.

We did San Diego Zoo/Wild Animal park but that place is super far. I got sick of the Zoo pretty quick.

So now it's on to LEGOLAND. We just got an annual pass to that. It was only $150 to upgrade off of some $75 tickets (total) and some crazy guy got our kid an annual pass. I love just looking at all the city they made. We went from 1-5 p.m. today. They now have a water park. They're going to charge us $30 to go each time though.

If your kids are big/old enough, a water theme park is always fun. Is raging waters still there?

Well it is a whole new add-on and it keeps 80% of the other visitors out. It was still super crowded. They say Saturday is the worst.
