| Can't wait for Mass Effect 3. I'm a huge fan of the series and just re-bought ME1 and ME2 for my computer and am replaying them to prepare for the final episode. |

| The slip and fall in Abdul's driveway didn't hurt Abdul financially. I'm certain that her home insurance paid for it.
And insurance companies don't pay out unless there's a court order that is non-appealable and there's actually merit to the claim. So... whatever she slipped on was not open or obvious, or it presented a special risk of harm that Abdul needed to abrogate- and didn't.

| i don't understand why nintendo/sony hasn't added cellphone capabilities to their handheld game systems.
cell phones are only so popular because they do more than just talk on the phone, so few people want to pay 200+ bucks to be able to play some 50 dollar games when they're not at home playing games, because they can already get a billion 99 cent games on their phone |

| I'm so sad von Bargen shot himself! It's also sad how people trying to commit suicide realize that they didn't want it after all.
Just sad. |

I personally don't think they'd do it well. What Apple was able to do is not easy - I find them to be the exception to several rules.
Also, while it is great to have so many games available at the press of a couple keys/buttons - I think we can all agree that there is a significant difference in gameplay quality between a $50 and $0.99 game.
Nintendo better be careful with how it deals with portable gaming moving forward - they are king, and have a bunch of tactics way under their belt, but a lack of a 'gaming store' where I could buy old Nintendo games to play is severely lacking.
I know they probably don't want to lose the physical medium associated with distributing video games, but they gotta show some sort of progression towards something better. |

| if the next gameboy (i refuse to call it a 'ds' it's just a newer gameboy) had a cell phone so i could text and call people + let me purchase any old game from any system nintendo made gamecube and older for 4.99 or less i'd never want an iphone again
and i'd easily pay 400-500 bucks for that |

| I was considering getting a Tesla Roadster but it is something like a 2 year waiting list to order one or you'd have to pay a ridiculous ADM to get the one you wanted.
The battery story is stupid. ANY modern car when left sitting for months without charging (or running) will destroy the battery...or in the case of the Tesla all of the batteries. I had the same thing happen to my GT500 the first year I put it in storage without a battery tender, when I pulled it out in the spring it wouldn't charge and I couldn't even jump start it. Modern cars have wait too many electronics...yet alone an electric car. |

| Frankly, I wouldn't mind if Nintendo made some sort of deal with a big carrier and offered new portables with no Cell Phone Radio, but it had a 3G (or better) radio antenna.
I'd also love to never deal with a physical medium for the games again, but I'm not looking forward to the potential Digital Protections that those games may carry. |

| that lunch sit in is pretty funny
you get what you pay for, when you pay teachers like shit you get teachers that don't know a turkey sandwhich is good for you.
i think i'm reading too much RRP becuase if that little girl would have been forced to eat brusleprouts instead i would have said the teacher was a PETA sleeper agent trying to indoctrinate our children against eating animals |

Umm...it has nothing to do with what we pay teachers and everything to do with what happens when you allow government to begin making decisions that you are more than capable of making for yourself. |

| it said in the article that someone goes through the lunches and determines if the food is healthy, and that person made the decision that it wasn't healthy, that person was wrong
and when it comes to being a parent there more than a couple people that need to be told how to do things, maybe it sucks that there's no one other than the government to tell you that 3 fruit roll ups and a pudding cup isn't a healthy lunch but theres no one else to do it |

| I must say the Avengers has me worried. I get a feeling the movie will spend too much time trying to let each superhero get 'theirs' at the sacrifice of meaningful content. It's hard to read from the previews. The movie could be all over the place. We'll see I guess. Looking forward to seeming more of Samuel L. Jackson. |

| 73 Easting is a pretty famous battle in armored cavalry circles. The troop commander of Eagle Troop, 2nd ACR at the time, H.R. McMaster, is now a brigadier general. He's had an interesting career.
The battle represents the pinnacle of modern American conventional warfare (and an end of an era). Battles like that one is why no one wants to go toe to toe with us on the modern battlefield. The soldiers that fought in that battle were brought up in a revitalized late 1980s Army that practiced hard for Air-Land Battle doctrine. |
