Apple Wins $1 Billion as Jury Finds Samsung Violated Patents

Story - Hey should I get a Galaxy S3 before they ban it or what? Quick.

Looks like those dicks at Verizon make you lose your unlimited data plan to upgrade the phone.

RE: Galaxy S3 --- I have to admit, I have a sense of panic myself because I'm about to upgrade my cell phone myself and I've had my eye on a Glide for about the last 30 days.

The honest truth however, is its going to take time to get an injunction in place. An injunction has to be filed, it has to be seen in court, Samsung will have a chance to explain how it will affect their business model and how this might be detrimental. In other words, Apple could possibly ruin holiday sales, but its gonna take no less then 30 days to get sanctions in place, if they can.

Keep in mind, Samsung (promptly Monday no doubt) will be filing an appeal on this trial (and Apple will be appealing the verdicts in Sumsung vs Apple) so once that's filed, everything else gets frozen ANYWAY.

    TL/DR --- There's no need to rush --- However, good man for picking a Galaxy S3. Bravo!~

    Bank of America Sucks
    Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on August 23rd, 2012 @ 3:22PM

I finally was able to ditch my credit card with them. I would have never had it but it was for Alaska Airlines and Mlady made me get it for her trips to Oregon I hate them so bad. They suck. I'm outraged the Gov bailed them out instead of just letting them fail. You can't even wait for them to fail cuz they'll just keep bailing them out.

You may not have seen me say this on G+, but Bank of America (along with Chase, CaptialOne and a few other banks) are at up to more no good recently.

They've started the practice of "resurrecting" dead accounts and then charging you an assortment of fees ranging from "Reactivation fees" to "Low balance fees". The report I had read on it stated that one of the people outraged over this had accumulated $500 of assorted fees by the time Bank of America notified him of his previously closed account had been reactivated. NATURALLY he found out through a credit collector.

    Such a despicable practice.

    Businesses I Hate

  • Blockbuster #1. Drove local businesses out of business who charged $1 a movie. Then they jacked the movies up to $5 a movie.
  • Cox (Cable) (been with them since 1999). $150 for cable + internet
  • Verizon (sucky reception even literally next door to them, removed unlimited data plan, made insurance plan suck, used to replace your phone, removed 2 year replacement plan and now only give $30 discount, got rid of normal phones almost and want you to lug around a data phone for $100+. I hate AT&T and Sprint even more.
  • Taco Bell/KFC - Shitty ingredients during one of the take-overs.
  • Bank of America - Been shitheads since 1990 or earlier. Assholes wouldn't even cash their own official check at their own branch without opening an account. They suck at banking and at credit cards.
  • Chase - Took over Washington Mutual, who ruled.

and many more I can't remember.

The only difference is I got my house because of the crash, I wouldn't be able to get a house in Irvine otherwise. But at the same time, my house payment is NUTS so I was making way more money just renting anyway.

Times are horrible. You can even see that in Irvine which has never been affected. All these businesses are vacant and malls are full of 1/2 empty shops. They shut down the car wash and that place has been going for 14+ years. Mervins is gone. Blockbuster is gone (yay). There's a row of 10 stores and there's only 1 store still open.

Everyone is losing their jobs, getting laid off. The company my chick used to work at doesn't even exist anymore and they were so powerful in 2006 that they had million dollar parties with ice sculptures and servants in foofy outfits etc.

And who is to blame? The evil financial corporations and the government.

    Fucking Bank of America
    Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on October 14th, 2011 @ 6:52PM

I've hated those guys my whole life. I've never actually had a bank account with them, my friends have always had one and I saw their pain. I got a credit card with an Airline that was actually represented by them. They charge a $75 annual fee but give you a $50 free airline ticket a year. But then the jerks upped the price to $99 for a companion ticket and we didn't even use this last one before it expired. So they charged me again $75 fee for the credit card for a year. I tried to cancel it but waited too long. Their rules were you had 30 days to request a refund but also had a hidden rule you can't make any charges after that fee is charged to request a refund. So I'm stuck with the fee and them another year.

The lesson is, FUCK BANK OF AMERICA. They are such pieces of shit. They've been sucking since the 1990s. They probably sucked even before that. I even tried to cash a check with them one time and they wouldn't do it because I had a credit card with them but didn't have a bank account. If you have a credit card account with them they SHOULD cash the check for you. The check was even issued BY Bank of America. So they wouldn't cash their own check. I had to take it to another bank to cash it.

I've always called them Bunch of Assholes. (BofA). They were failing massively and the US government bailed them out. They should have let them die cause they deserve it. My dream after Blockbuster folding is for someday Bank of America to go under. As long as their buddies in the government keep bailing them out, it will never happen.

    Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on August 19th, 2011 @ 9:12PM

Craigslist is a great way to sell things but the people are so scummy. My chick was trying to sell a washer/dryer for someone and this Mexican guy loads it up, then offered $150 less than the price. She said it said $650. he's like no it said $500. Then he loads it up on his phone and saw it said $650 but accused her of changing it later. He ended up paying $575 more but overall paid $75 less than the price.

I recommended next time to confirm the price over the phone before they even come over. But they pull that shit all the time. I've seen people pull those scams at least 10 times now. They come to buy something for $20, then get there and say ok here's $10. They think since you have them there, you'll just give in. I think one time we had someone pick something up on the porch and leave the money under the mat and they shorted us like $5-10 cuz we weren't there. My chick is pretty tough though. She usually tells them to get lost if they try to scam on the price. They keep trying though.

People really have no honor or morals.

Update: I never sell anything personally. It's my lady that sells everything. Usually it's furniture or kids stuff.
