MF-er. Gas is up to $4.35 a gallon.

Forever, my car has been smoking or smelling after I drive. Last time I had the headgasket replaced. Then I had some cooling hoses replaced. This time my axel boot was leaking and my radiator was cracked. They also put in a new timing belt. I had $400 Subaru bucks so the end price was about $520. :( I only have 64k miles but the car is now 10 years old in a few months.

For our trip up/down California:

She was driving and this dumbass in a XTera, which is a total Mountain Dew Douche Truck, flew past us. They had their brights on. Another black truck did the same. So way way way up there later on we see a CHP pull over someone then we're waiting miles to see who they got. And to our luck/justice it was the Xtera. Awesome. You almost never see any justice in the world, so it's nice when it happens.

Anyway, get a Valentine 1. They keep replacing it for $200 when it's a $400 device. You just mail it in for an upgrade. It works SO well.

We still haven't solved the issue of laser/lidar. There's so many fake sites/videos online it's hard to tell what actually works. It's looking like $500 for a good laser jammer and now it's illegal in CA.

Times never change. My chick regularly drives it way past the oil change point, in a 20-40k van.

Yesterday they sat there watching a movie and had other things on and the battery ran out. AAA said they would be an hour so she asked around for help. Some guy helped her but she let him plug some device into the CPU of the car below the steering wheel. I had even said before, that you need to be careful when you jump or you'll fry the electronics. So it didn't work. Then AAA showed up and couldn't jump it. Because, the idiot who plugged into the cpu blew 3 fuses. I was trying to tell her some examples to explain why that was bad to let him do that.

Q: Would you let someone put a finger in your _____? Then why would you let some random idiot plug into the BRAINS of your car. Would you let some random person perform brain surgery or would you pick a brain surgeon.

So the repairs were $115 and another electrical problem was solved at the same time. So I don't know for sure what the repair cost on the other things were. It could have been $10 and the other repair was $105.

On top of that the first AAA guy made a big dent in the door, that will always remind me of that nonsense. Then a second AAA had to tow the van to the dealer. All over running the battery out.

The lesson is, wait for an expert, don't let people do shit to your car.

:UPDATE:

I went out on the road today. It was SUPER fun. The scenery was pretty cool, and it was WIDE open all the way. We saw about 7 cops in 15min, and a few of them had people pulled over.

I have a fairly high-end car. We saw a Corvette (base) and a C63 AMG. Not a lot of really cool/fast cars out there today.

10/10/12 - Now I'm seeing gas at $5.15 at a few stations. Costco was $4.85 I think.

Asian lady smokes and walks the parking lot. So you're killing yourself while exercising to improve your body. It makes total sense. Anyway.

I drive about once a week, and it seems like every time I drive, she manages to be exactly in my way as I back up, or go home or whenever it happens. So today I just said screw it and backed up anyway as she ducked in between the cars. They have a jogging path right next door, there's no reason to walk the parking lot. There's even a lot of sidewalks to walk instead of the parking lot. Anyway here's my sighting log.

A few weeks back we were driving along and the freeway stopped. We bailed out on an exit before we were stuck.

It's been a money pit for the past 4 years. I bought a new car to get away from the maintenance. It's still taken me 2 years to get it running somewhat decent as a daily driver:

• 2 bent rims. Aftermarket (TSW) that are discontinued. 4 new wheels & tires (stock) $1000

We also know those cops are all aholes in that case. The irony is also it's Mexican cops asking if a white person is a US citzen, haha. But it's just stupid to ask white people if they are Citizens unless they're trying to catch ANY person out of the country that might be illegal. It's clear Gomez is a dumbass. What cops do now is use the dogs as an excuse to search the car. They don't even find anything but they use it as an excuse to search your car anyway as we saw in that link a few months back. A cop had done this 100s of times.

My family wants to leave for 2 weeks to Oregon. So as I'm driving to work, I'm wondering what if my car bites it and I'm stuck. At that point I had no reason to believe there was anything wrong with it. I get to work, park, then piles of smoke come out of the engine. I pop the hood and it just keeps smoking. I'm wondering if it's going to catch fire. So now I don't know if I should tow it, drive it to the dealer, or what. They just had done lots of things to it. It isn't overheating. It's gray smoke off one side. My dad thinks antifreeze leaking or something. There's antifreeze in the radiator reservoir.

I seem to be able to predict the future at times. Any time I think something is going to happen, it happens. The last time was I see a cop 3 miles up the road pulling someone else over. I go if I head down this road, this guy is going to get me somehow, despite already pulling someone over. I thought about turning around and taking another road. Yet when I got up there, he pulled me over.

Maybe my skills are related to cars. I seem to be able to predict work meetings too, like games being canceled or other things. haha.
