Oregon Vacation from Hell Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on January 10th, 2012 @ 1:52PM People ask how my vacation was. Now that I'm back life is so great because I'm not on that horrible vacation. Work is a break from that. I think it's the 2nd worst time ever in my life behind snow camping in Northern Michigan for 3 days without good supplies in negative 50 degree weather? Oregon Vacation Fun

Rental Adventures Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on January 5th, 2012 @ 12:55AM
See the lamp at the top of the house? I used an 1900s ladder to climb over the gutter. I didn't realize there's no way down on that ladder without someone helping. Which I had. I climbed up there. Now Imagine it's 2 a.m. I climbed the steeple to change a light bulb. I put the spare bulb in my pouch in front of my stomach but then it falls out and rolls down the length of both roofs breaking. Oops. My lady gave me a second bulb climbing the ladder. It was such a bitch to get the bulb out. If you look below the bulb it's this clearish thin thing that lets light over the porch. You can't walk on it. I got the bulb out and didn't fall. But getting the new bulb in was so far. I'm leaning way off the steeple using my right hand (i'm left handed) to screw it in and I could NOT find the right place to hook it up. I nearly fell off one time. Scary. I'm so sick of this rental I wanted a I don't care if I live or die experience. Finally I got it threaded then got off the roof. It was hard finding the ladder below me. Getting up is easy, down is a bitch. Then the light thankfully works. It's great. COMMENTS (3) | OREGON | DIGGRental: Hillbilly Firepit Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on January 5th, 2012 @ 12:24AM
These hillbillies who rented the place for 6 years dug up the patio to make a firepit and cook things they hunted. It was a fire hazard cuz it was way too close to the house. I tried to fix it playing tetris with rocks but sadly this is the best I could do. The rocks were not flat on any sides. COMMENTS | OREGON | DIGG

I've found all sorts of treasure at the rental. Some from digging: Oregon Adventures Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on January 4th, 2012 @ 10:47PM
We went to the carpet store and a black rasta guy with dreads is bicycling by on this. It looks like cardboard but it's all silver. Maybe it's painted cardboard? It even has a glass like sunroof. The lady told me it's a hamburger delivery guy at lunch time. There's SO many people on foot here. At the Ghetto Crib (rental) a ton of people walk by all day long. At the carpet store which in the middle of nowhere, I counted over 40 people walking by in 15 mins. It's so nuts. You never see that many people walking in California unless it's a school getting out, sporting event, or downtown city in a few locations. It's like no one here has a car or something. I want to go home! Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on January 2nd, 2012 @ 2:18PM It sucks here. The homeless are EVERYWHERE. The sun never comes out. It's FREEZING. I want my computer and my cat. I want to play Battlefield. I want a house with 4 people instead of 16 people. This is like how it is to be illegals in California. 4 families sharing a house. Tonight I had to feed 7 kids. Everyone is always screaming. The kids never go to bed. They are all up at 11 - 12 p.m. One night they went to bed at 11 and I had 2 1/2 hours of saint's Row. That was the best night. This is my yearly 3 week vacation and it's worse than work. I spent 8 hours raking leaves. Last night I got stuck at a house until 5am as they painted. I had to make a bed out of 2 trash bags and a sweatshirt. I spent 4 days doing dishes to drive up here. Then when I get up here, I'm doing dishes for 11-16+ people. COMMENTS (2) | OREGON | DIGG
Oregon Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on December 31st, 2010 @ 12:10AM So today, Thursday It actually didn't rain and we went outside and walked. COMMENTS | OREGON | DIGG
Oregon Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on December 28th, 2010 @ 8:27PM Rains here every damn day. Last time I didn't see rain was maybe December 16th? It's such a downer. It just makes you want to sleep all the time or do nothing. In California, it rains and people go OMG and crash into each other and overtax the rescue and cops. In Oregon, they go, hey it's just another day and they're all out doing things as normal. COMMENTS | OREGON | DIGGBack from Oregon Coast Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on December 28th, 2010 @ 1:25AM Yesterday we drove to the Oregon Coast. We went in 2 vans. We got 3 rooms at Best Western. I went in 2008 al so. Something is up with their water at their pool. It's all salty and makes me feel sick every time. Another person said the same thing. We went to some place "Sunset" something at the ocean. It has 275,000 Christmas lights in a park. They charge $5 entry per vehicle. Then they give cookies and hot apple cider for donations. It's been raining for days here. I'm so sick of the gloomy cold rain. I could never live here. COMMENTS (1) | OREGON | DIGG

Back in California/Home Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on September 29th, 2007 @ 10:42PM Getting back was a nightmare. My plane was 35 mins late AGAIN. Then two different people bailed on me for picking me up. The first person called me the night before saying they couldn't do it. The next person said I'd owe them if they picked me up. Well I'd rather not owe people so I'm like f that, shuttle. Then they called back and said sorry after I'd already booked the shuttle. Well I'd still not even have there be a chance of someone owing me, esp when I feel I did way more for them than they've ever done for me. Anyway. The shuttle was $47 and took 1 hour 40 mins. The trip should have taken like 40-50 mins. I had to wait while he did like 4 loops around the airport picking more people up then eventually I was the 2nd person dropped off. I watched almost all of Spiderman 2 on my PSP. If I knew I couldn't count on anyone to pick me up I woulda just taken a car there and stored it for a week. I put myself out there and do tons of shit for people and spend money doing things for them, give time, give my home etc, then I ask one f-ing thing and it's too inconvenient... Never count on other people. I think there's maybe 1-2 people in my life that have never let me down but the rest of them have all turned out to be completely unreliable. Well when people do that to me, I stop doing things for them. The bunnies are still alive. They still have a little food left. I gave them double barrel water bottles and they have a day or two left in one of them. I think a week is about the max I'd leave them alone. I would have had someone check on them, but we're back to the can't trust anyone to get shit done scenario again. I'm the biggest slacker in the world, I put things off for months/years but it turns out I'm the best at anything of anyone I know down here. I'm the only one with his life/shit reasonably together. And that's just sad. COMMENTS (3) | OREGON | DIGG
