Sea World Cheats at Carnival Games Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on February 4th, 2013 @ 12:52PM I mailed this to them: Yesterday, 2/3/2013 we went to Sea World San Diego. We participated in one of the carnival games, where you pay $5 for 2 tries climbing up a spinning rope ladder to win a giant stuffed animal. Just as our son, an 11 year old climbed to the top and was about to be awarded the prize, a man in a blue jacket came running from across the park and said he's disqualified, his knees touched. From where the man was (way down across the park), he couldn't even see that far. There was no way he could have seen if the knees were touching or not. He told us, our son would have to try again. The man left, and our son tried again. He made it and was awarded the stuffed animal. Great story right? Except for a few problems. When we paid $5, the operator said if he made it his first try, he'd give our son his $2 back. Well our son made it his first try (but blue jacket guy said he didn't). So when he won, the operator claimed that he had won on his second climb up. Despite having won on his first. And when the blue jacket guy left, he said give the kid two more tries. So technically this was his FIRST of two tries. So our son was cheated out of his $2 back. Since we won the stuffed animal we could let the $2 go if we hadn't also had this problem: As we traveled throughout the park with the giant stuffed animal, we heard many stories of people who had tried the same game and had the same thing happen to them. They would make it to the top when someone would claim their knees touched and disqualify them. EVEN WHEN THEIR KNEES NEVER TOUCHED. So there's some super shady crap going on there. You'd think at Sea World they wouldn't have cheating carnival games, but sadly the Sea World games are just as crooked as a traveling circus. (also fuck that blue jacket guy who didn't see shit. He was like omg someone is about to win a prize I better run my fat ass over there and disqualify them. ) Not my video but here's someone climbing it: COMMENTS (5) | SAN DIEGO | DIGG
Went to Sea World Sunday Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on February 3rd, 2013 @ 10:16PM They had 3 portals for ingress in Sea World. I kept visiting them and almost hit level 2. I got my first portal. If you check the ingress/intel map you can see my name on the portal until tomorrow when someone might take out my level 1 portal. haha. I spent a bunch more time at the Sea Turtle place in San Diego. It's awesome. COMMENTS | SAN DIEGO | DIGG
Sea World Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on January 13th, 2013 @ 1:05AM Went to Sea World for the two kids birthdays. I like that place better than Disneyland but it's about $50 in gas. :( The passes are cheaper for the year though. They added a new Turtle Exhibit with live Sea Turtles swimming around. It's awesome. I love the gift shop too. I wanted to buy every turtle thing. Our boy got a turtle pillow, M.Bacon got a pink turtle. I got a turtle snow globe and pin. MLady got a turtle shirt and we got a turtle book too. haha. Babies Get Hurt at Sea World

San Diego Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on May 29th, 2012 @ 12:15AM Went down there for 2 days. Today I had the worst Whale Watching trip ever. No Whales and it was choppy as can be. One person threw up and they were such a dumbshit, they just bent over and threw up in the main walkway instead of over the side. And we saw no whales. My Dolphin Video

Sea World Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on October 10th, 2010 @ 10:07PM I went to Sea World today with the kids alone. They are doing their special Halloween theme so it was pretty cool. They had a Halloween Seal & Otter Show. They had 10 Trick or Treat stations set up that you could keep going through. One of them gave these containers of peanut butter which is kinda weird. I made it through the diaper changes, I used 2 diaper change rooms and 1 guys restroom and 2 times in the car. They also had a halloween Elmo show which was pretty decent. They also replaced the 4D Elmo show with a pirates one with Lisle Nealson (sp) (Naked Gun). The only problem was M Bacon started screaming it's too scary and made me leave. It was a little scary for her but I wish I coulda saw the rest of it. At least with 2 people you can hand off the kid to the mom. COMMENTS (1) | SAN DIEGO | DIGG

Went to Sea World Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on August 16th, 2010 @ 1:32AM Yesterday I went to San Diego for the 3rd time. You really only need 2 times. After that, there's not much new. We did finally go to the NIGHT version of the Shamu show which was way cooler than the day version. They have this item in the gift shop. You either get a tube with an animal head or a clear lunch box. Then for $9.99 you get to fill it up with as many little plastic animals or fish you can, then keep them. We discovered the lunch box carries more than the tube. Then my chick and kids sat there for like 20 mins seeing how many they could cram in the lunch box and still get it closed. They got 36 of them. The store sells pre-packaged ones with only 12 in them for $9.99. haha. One of my chick's best skills is packing. She packed several bedrooms of things into her closet at one of her apartments. She, every year, packs several carloads of items at Thanksgiving into the car. And you should see our garage. So this was the perfect skill test for her. The lunch box didn't even completely close and the cashier still let us get away with it. Then little M. Bacon (formerly Baby M) would always get out 2 animals that matched the show or exhibit we went to and carried them the whole time. At the Shamu show she wanted a mama shamu and a baby one to hold. I told her not to drop them and she held on tight and never dropped any.

San Diego Street Performer (my video) Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on July 1st, 2010 @ 5:59PM I recorded this video of a street performer I find amazing. He's worth the $ considering what he's doing if you really look at the skill and effort involved. San Diego - Seaport Village Street Performer. This guy has one of the best performances around. He has a custom suit which allows him to double over using his hands as feet for the second dancer. Then he stays in step using his hands while completely doubled over. I almost never give money to street performers but this guy is great and worth paying. He's older too, maybe 50-60+. It's so tiring he has to wait a while before doing another performance. We guess he maybe makes $200 per day? Imagine being doubled over, then timing your hands to your feet as a dance while in that hot suit. Then you probably can't see anything either. I say that's a WINNER. The guy is pretty nice too. Question: Why do the dancers have no faces? Question: Why is it two male sailors? I think it's a cultural thing. I think he's from some eastern Europe or Middle Eastern Area where that sort of thing is OK vs. here. COMMENTS (3) | SAN DIEGO | DIGG
